CHILHOWEE
INTRODUCING
CHILHOWEE
This area of town is full of history, even as it is in the midst of lots of growth & change in the present! Though mostly a residential area, Chilhowee Park is an outdoor exhibition center that has housed several large events, (including some that freaking Theodore Roosevelt and Louis Armstrong attended back in the day!). Today, most people know it as the Tennessee Valley Fair grounds – but it’s also a great venue for festivals, concerts, charity runs, and trade shows. They even have a gorgeous Water Lantern festival in April. The Chilhowee neighborhood is also near Zoo Knoxville and the popular children’s museum “The Muse,” which — let’s be honest — are both also awesome spots for adults.
HERE ARE SOME
THINGS WE LOOOVE
Chilhowee is home to Zoo Knoxville & The Muse, a delightful children's museum
Convenient to bike or drive to downtown.
There's lots of history!
BESIDES THAT, HERE ARE
A FEW MORE THINGS
Like a lot of East Knox, this neighborhood is in the midst of a lot of growth & change
Technically you could walk to downtown, but you'd have to cross a couple pretty major streets & it's just not that cute.
