INTRODUCING
CHILHOWEE
This area of town is full of history, even as it is in the midst of lots of growth & change in the present! Though mostly a residential area, Chilhowee Park is an outdoor exhibition center that has housed several large events, (including some that freaking Theodore Roosevelt and Louis Armstrong attended back in the day!). Today, most people know it as the Tennessee Valley Fair grounds – but itโs also a great venue for festivals, concerts, charity runs, and trade shows. They even have a gorgeous Water Lantern festival in April. The Chilhowee neighborhood is also near Zoo Knoxville and the popular childrenโs museum โThe Muse,โ which โ letโs be honest โ are both also awesome spots for adults.ย

๐ฅAJ (one of the owners) moved to Knoxville as a kid after her mom brought the fam to the Worlds Fair. Mom loved it so much that she packed the fam up & moved them all the way from Phoenix just a couple months later ๐๐ And because of AJโs momโs choice, my Tennessee home now gets to smell deliciously like wassail ๐๐๐ Thanks, AJโs mom!
