First Friday Downtown
Art, Culture, (and Snacks), Oh My!
Downtown Knoxville erupts into a magical land of art, culture, and (free!) wine and snacks on the First Friday of each month! Businesses transform into galleries, while restaurants and bars host a myriad of performances from comedy to music to poetry. Map out your First Friday experience, or simply park and stroll – either way, you’re sure to come out of the experience very fancy and impressive 😉
Pro-Tip: We suggest starting at the 100 Block of Gay St. around 5 pm and working your way south. Make sure to hit staples like the Emporium, Visit Knoxville, and the Art Market!
