SUMMER SETS SESSION at 71 South
Biking, BMXing, & Partying - Oh My!Y’aaaaaall! If you’ve been interested in checking out the biking scene in Knoxville but weren’t sure where to start – THIS, my friend. This is it.
If youuuu bike, sign up for timed races and freestyle competitions on both pump tracks at Baker Creek Preserve in South Knoxville. (Prizes are on the table, people!) If you do not cycle in such a way that you want people to observe it (yeah, hi, nightmare 😂), you’re still in for a treat. Come watch all the action including performances from 3 ✨professional ✨BMX riders: Marc Willers, Philip Kaiser, & Tommy Zula. (Marc Willers has casuall competed in the Olympics TWICE soooo…) THEN once it wraps up at 7pm, pop across the parking lot at 7:30pm for an after party with live music & food & drinks & good times at 71 South 🎉
Whether you’re competing or just hangin’, it is all FREEEEE, BABYYYY! 🙌 Plus, any purchases you make at the event will benefit the Urban Wilderness Fund (which includes AMBC, Ijams Nature Center, and Legacy Parks) as well as raise awareness of Knoxville’s growing BMX community in order to try and develop a BMX track down the road.
SIGN UP HERE TO COMPETE BY SEP 22ND
SEE YOU THERE!
