As someone who drank quite a bit of Portuguese wine in preparation for a honeymoon in Portugal – I can say from experience, you do not want to sleep on this country’s wines. If you do not care about my random opinion, you may be more interested in this next paragraph straight from their event page: ‘This wine dinner features five selections from the producer Duckman, a project by Maria João Pato and her father Luís Pato, in the Bairrada region of Portugal. Maria breaks the mold by creating imaginative and expressive low intervention wines that go against the grain of traditional winemaking.’
