Fort Sanders is quite cozy with the University of Tennessee’s campus which means it’s definitely the place to be on game day. The main drag called “The Strip” is packed with fans, tailgaters, and students alike, all ready to cheer on the Vols and have a dang good time doing it. BUT tailgating is certainly not the only reason to head to Fort Sanders! It’s a walkable dream, home to local businesses and Victorian houses; and it backs up to World’s Fair Park giving you a wonderful view of the ✨iconic✨ Sunsphere.
