Gay St. is the main drag of downtown Knoxville, notably marked by the big, bright, bold Tennessee Theatre sign (if you don’t take a photo of it, have you really been to Knoxville? 😉). She’s flanked on either side by local bars, restaurants, venues and shops. In typical Knoxville fashion, there’s plenty of opportunity to learn some history or catch some music. Needless to say, there is no reason to be bored on Gay St!
