ROCKY HILL
The Rocky Hill neighborhood is the area west of Northshore Drive and east of Wallace Road. Even with newly emerging neighborhoods and establishments, this area hasnโt lost its old time charm. Along this section of Northshore Drive, locals feast at Scrambled Jake’s and shop at Butler & Bailey Market, a grocery owned by the Butler and Bailey families. Stop in for local goods (Cruze Farm milk, anyone?) as well as gourmet cooking classes.

You're equa-distance from the rivers (Tennessee River) and the roads (I40)
Parades, markets, & events give this part of town a unique small-town flavor you might not expect from just passin' through!
While there are plenty of planned subdivisions, there are also some super cool mid-century homes

While there are certainly some beloved spots to hang (for instance, Scrambled Jake's), Rocky Hill ultimately doesn't have a whooole lot to do. If you enjoy a primarily residential area with a couple close gems, you're in luck!
As is the case with a lot of West Knoxville, this area is not very walkable
You're not super accessible to the highway which can be a hair inconvenient

๐ฅAJ (one of the owners) moved to Knoxville as a kid after her mom brought the fam to the Worlds Fair. Mom loved it so much that she packed the fam up & moved them all the way from Phoenix just a couple months later ๐๐ And because of AJโs momโs choice, my Tennessee home now gets to smell deliciously like wassail ๐๐๐ Thanks, AJโs mom!
