10 Dec
4:25 pm - 4:25 pm
Knoxville Museum of Art

Flowers of War: Stories that Bloom in Ruins is an exhibition that highlights the personal experiences of those affected by Russia’s war in Ukraine. The artwork, created by Ukrainian children, parents, soldiers, refugees, and volunteers, provides a raw and emotional look at the realities of the ongoing conflict. The exhibition aims to foster empathy and strengthen global connections with those enduring unimaginable hardship. The opening reception will take place on December 22, from 2-4pm at Knoxville Museum of Art, but will remain up until February 16th.

Restore Ukraine is a charity organization founded in February 2022, during the early days of the full-scale war. Established by brothers Yaroslav and Stanislav Hnatusko, the group focuses on providing humanitarian aid and helping to rebuild cities and communities devastated by the conflict, with a vision to ensure that every Ukrainian family has food and shelter.
